Munster beat Connacht

Munster came back from a four point half-time deficit to beat Connacht 20-16 at the Sportground.

After an error-strewn start and a missed Munster penalty, Miah Nikora gave Connacht a deserved lead with a penalty straight in front of the posts.

Ian Keatley responded with an immediate penalty to level things up at 3-3, before Mick Wallace saw a yellow card in the 23rd minute for obstruction.Ethienne Reynecke then went over for Connacht a minute later after a relentless drive from the forwards, a try converted by Nikora. Keatley brought it back to 10-6 with a penalty ten minutes before the break.

Nikora made it 13-6 to Connacht three minutes into the second half, and Eric Elwood's side almost went further ahead when Gavin Duffy held a cross-field kick and looked to have crossed over, but Simon Zebo managed to hold him up.Zebo then scored a converted try in the 57th minute to level matters at 13-13. Nikora kicked over a penalty six minutes later, but Munster took the points when Tommy O'Donnell went over for a converted try in the 67th minute following a Tomas O'Leary break.  - http://www.setanta.com
