Brown to coach

Saints Saints go for Huddersfield man as new coach for next season

St Helens have announced that Huddersfield Giants coach Nathan Brown will become their new man in charge at the end of the season.

Saints sacked Royce Simmons in March after leading the club to their worst ever start to a Super League season, with Mike Rushand Keiron Cunningham taking the helm in his place.Despite there being plenty of the season left to play, Saints have moved to secure their new coach for next season and have opted for Huddersfield man Brown. The Giants are currently top of Super League but Brown's contract expires at the end of the current campaign and he will then move to Saints on a three-year deal.Although delighted at being handed the post, Brown still has a big job in hand and is determined to leave the Giants on a high.
