Radford sent off on a high

Retired forward helps Hull to victory in testimonial

Hull defeated Bradford 46-6 as the teams celebrated the career of Lee Radford in Sunday's testimonial.

The 33-year-old retired at the end of last season after successful spells with both clubs, but laced up his boots for a final time at the KC Stadium.

Radford's first contribution was not a good one, though, as his clash of heads with Jamie Langley left the Bradford forward out cold and he was carried off the field on a stretcher and wearing a neck brace.

Hull ran in nine tries in total, with Wade McKinnon (two), Richard Horne, Danny Tickle, Tom Briscoe, Danny Nicklas all crossing and Kirk Yeaman grabbing a hat-trick.

Fittingly, Radford kicked a conversion from close to the touchline to wrap things up. He will now return to new coach Peter Gentle's staff ahead of the season opener with Warrington
next week.

Bradford start their campaign with a clash against Catalan. - http://www.skysports.com/
