Reaching The Stars Like Lee Chong Wei: Rooney Plans to Break Charlton’s England and Man Utd Records

THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Wayne Rooney, Manchester United’s first-choice striker, aims to break the record set by the legendary Sir Bobby Charlton in England and United.

Aiming to lead United to win w1th ease this season, Rooney has 64 United and 17 England goals left before he could break Charlton’s records. The 27-year old striker became an inspirational force in United since his 2004 move from Everton.

Rooney considers Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes as his inspirations in both club and country. He considers his target to break Charlton’s numbers as a “great challenge”.
