Celtic Celebrate Founding Anniversary with UEFA Champions League Victory against Barcelona

THE LATEST UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS – Celtic gained a greater reason to celebrate their 125th birthday as they won 2-1 over Spanish heavyweights Barcelona in their Champions League home game.

Barcelona looked lacklustre as they failed to score in the first 89 minutes of the match. Celtic showed their sharpness to win with ease against their prominent rivals through goals from Victory Wanyama and Tony Watt.

Barça talisman Lionel Messi scored the visitors’ only goal in the match on the 90th minute. He failed to score an equalizer during injury time as Fraser Forster made impressive saves.
