Munster win in Wales

Munster recorded a 24-14 victory away to the Newport Gwent Dragons in the RaboDirect Pro12 on Saturday night.

The Irish side trailed 11-9 at the break, but tries from Luke O'Dea and Felix Jones in the second half saw the visitors secure victory at Rodney Parade. The only try of the first half was scored by the home side's Ashley Smith, who finished well after a fine run and pass by Will Harries.

Lewis Robling booted two penalties for the Dragons in the first period, but a trio of kicks by Ian Keatley at the other end ensured that the visitors trailed by just two point at the interval. After Robling had landed his third successful penalty of the evening, Munster drew level when Luke O'Dea waltzed over for a try.

The away side then hit the front through a penalty from replacement Scott Deasy, before Felix Jones picked up a loose pass in the Dragons midfield and charged through to score under the posts. Deasy's conversion left Munster 10 points ahead. In injury time, Deasy missed a penalty from the halfway line, but by that stage, the victory had already been secured. Munster's victory sees them move up to second in the table, while Dragons remain ninth. - http://www.setanta.com/
