Hall still seeks improvement

Rhinos ace looking to cement his position as England's best winger

Ryan Hall insists he is still on a learning curve despite being voted the best winger in the world in 2011.

The 24-year-old, who signed a new five-year deal with Leeds Rhinos on Tuesday, was one of only three Englishmen named in last year's World XIII.

But Hall, who has scored 107 tries in 124 appearances for the Headingley club, says he has given himself a hard act to follow.

"That's the standard now," he said. "Hopefully it wasn't a flash in the pan.

"I'll hopefully keep building on that. I want to be the best English winger and that's what I'm aiming for.

"Playing for England at the end of the year might have stirred up a bit of interest and there might have been some suggestions in the media, but in my eye there was only one outcome and that was staying at Leeds.

"I have only ever wanted to play for Leeds Rhinos and this contract will take me up to my 10th season at the club and the majority of my career which is a great honour and privilege.

"We've had a great run, being crowned champions four years in the last five and the test for me is to see how many more times we can do it in the next five." - http://www1.skysports.com/
