Bradley rues missed chances

Edinburgh head coach Michael Bradley has revealed his disappointment after his side were beaten 25-8 by the Cardiff Blues on Friday.

The Scottish outfit were unbeaten in the Heineken Cup going into the game at the Cardiff City Stadium, however after a bright start Edinburgh allowed the home side to get a grip on the game to go on and win comfortably.

Blues fly-half Dan Parks dictated much of the play and his two drop goals put his side in a strong position against an ever-improving Edinburgh side.

These two teams will meet next weekend at Murrayfield and Bradley is hoping his side will make more of the chances presented to them after their defeat in Wales.

"It was disappointing, we started brightly enough and we kept the pressure on Cardiff but we did not take our chances or convert our territory into scores," he said.

"We lacked composure, which I hope we will have in more familiar surroundings next week. The gulf is not insurmountable for next week." - http://www.setanta.com
