O'Shea celebrates 'special' win

Harlequins coach Conor O'Shea claims Sunday's astounding 31-24 Heineken Cup victory at Toulouse was like winning a cup final.

The London outfit headed to the home of the Top 14 leaders having tasted defeat for the first time this season last week when Toulouse came to the Stoop and won.

However, Quins turned Pool Six on its head with a win over the four-time European champions, with Mike Brown going over twice and Nick Evans scoring 16 points with his boot.

While Toulouse did enough to collect a bonus point and keep them top of the Pool, the win served as a warning sign to the rest of Europe not to underestimate Harlequins.

O'Shea and his players were delighted but the Quins coach is keen to keep his players' feet on the ground with two more pool matches to come.

"Right now this feels like we've won a cup final but it's a pool game and we have to make sure we keep learning," O'Shea said. "The resolve the players showed was incredible.

"We have a good record away from home but we knew coming here we were going to have to ride our luck at times in the face of wave after wave of pressure.

"We won't stick our heads in the sand and say it was a perfect performance but these are the days that make the Heineken Cup and the games you are judged on." - http://www.setanta.com
